OMG! I was just four minutes ahead of you at the Half Marathon point and 13 minutes ahead at the end! I was sitting on the ground (trying not to moan) by the tent on the beach when you crossed the finish line, and I didn't even know you were there!

I so wish I had known you were there! We could have hobbled through those last 10 miles or so together. (I almost gave up at one point, so you might've seen me on the side of the road around mile 20.)
